Answer :Anneliese Michel (born 21 September 1952 - died 1 July 1976 at 23 years of age) is a German woman who had undergone exorcism in Catholicism the year before her death. Investigations carried out confirmed that Michel was deficient in growth substances and lost body fluids. The mother of Michel's father and the priests concerned were charged with negligent murder. Michel suffered from seizures and is reported to have undergone treatment for psychiatric problems, all of which did not work smoothly. His physical condition continued to deteriorate whenever he felt various symptoms which made him have to take medication as well. Michel and his family began to fully believe that Michel was possessed by an evil spirit. This issue has attracted the attention of the public, journalists and text reviewers because of the unusual decision of the priests concerned to have to practice the Catholic religion which is more than 200 years old to carry out exorcisms. One of the films entitled The Exorcism of Emily Rose is a reference to Michel's story. |
